Casaplay is a recreational hideaway located in Damour, along the southern coast of Lebanon. The site is an agricultural land bound by fruit trees and banana plantations, as well as the main seaside highway on the east and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea on the West. The house’s curved steel structure is inspired by the simple and functional greenhouse typology found on nearby plots. Lined with pine wood, the interior barrel vault creates warmth. A red box housing two bathrooms and an open kitchen is inserted within the steel trusses and divides the space into a music room and a playroom.
