Zuoquan Courtyard,nestled amidst TaiHang mountains,is a vernacular architecture inspired by the local landscape and heritage. Its terraced structure blends seamlessly with the mountain terrain,delicately preserving nature. The design pays homage to the spirit of Taihang through modern translation of elements from local cave dwellings and the rhythm of folk songs, thus echoing the collective memory of the community. Courtyards and corridors inside sophisticatedly organize six different functional spaces and create an enchanting interplay of spaces, captivating visitors and inviting interaction.
