My animation is a title sequence of a fictional TV series for the short story of Nikolai Gogol's Diary of a Madman. I have created 19 looping frame by frame animations corresponding to the short story’s chapters, and employed the phenakistoscope, which was developed around the birth of the story, to explore the despair and monotonity of the main character’s life. My video narrates the entire story through associations. Music: Entropy by Moritz Simon Geist
