Woven into a ribbon of protected oak trees sits a double holiday retreat and wellness accommodation on the site of former derelict stables. The folded building is finished externally with black and silver charred timber, with the inside contrasting with a naturally finished birch ply to blend in with the surroundings. All bespoke handcrafted joinery and wooden furniture throughtout the building is made from sustainably sourced materials by Herringbone.The building is designed to be used as one big holiday rental or as two separate ones. Heat pumps keep the timber frame energy requirements low.
