Located in Geda Village, Xi 'an City, the homestay site is surrounded by hills and about 50km away from the downtown. The layout drew on the prototype of traditional folk houses, but expressed with modern design language. Architects further evolved five relatively independent enclosed courtyards, which were built along the terrain and staggered from north to south. The space between blocks allows the interior and natural environment to penetrate each other, forming a symbiotic relationship. The winding path creates an unique experience while effectively connecting various courtyards.
