Michelangelo Galliani professor at Urbino Academy of Fine Arts wants to build his atelier workshop, to house tools, equipments, works and an apprentice. Thus was born a working space, coinceved on his direct actions and phases to sculpt. All paths of his own working process were studied to define a system of multipurpose spaces, linked each other in a pavilion, that could be renewed and changed over time or even dismantled if it was no longer needed. The project outlines a sequence of diaphragms: a pergola to store quarry blocks, a space to study, a porch to smooth and a platform to carve.
