The design uses modern architectural language to transform an abandoned space in a low-profile posture, but with tension. The form of order and symmetry evokes romantic and poetic empathy. Inspired by Chinese traditional removable window, architects adopt the form of diagonal support on the main facade to highlight the oriental interest and charm. Its slanted eaves outline a picture scroll window. The 70-meter-long "picture frame" incorporates a variety of retail types, including bookstores, cafes and bistro.
