The house, dating back to 1910, is located in a small village, in Kythera and is a typical sample of the island's traditional architecture. During its life, it suffered from several interventions that altered its architectural character. Therefore, the main goal of the intervention was to restore the house’s exterior form according to its original state and the local architectural language, while also implementing timeless qualities to its interiors. The courtyard becomes the core of the composition by connecting the two existing structures that are integrated integrated in the landscape.
