The Zhengyi visitor Center serves as a gateway to the old city. Designed to provide information for visitors and host community programs, it stands out with its lotus-inspired architecture. Four gracefully curved roofs, resembling lotus leaves, hover above the ground, each dedicated to a specific function—housing a ticketing center, cafe, bookstore, and auditorium. The sloped geometry allows for ample daylighting while invites diverse interpretations, symbolizing the anticipation of a lotus petal moments before blossoming—a metaphor for the joyous moment before climax, filled with hope.
