Crouching Dragon in Courtyards (CDC), a virtual interactive design, is inspired by the aesthetics of royal courtyards. As leisure places aside the Forbidden City, the architectural styles and myths are condensed into the exclusive totem - dragon. CDC creates a cub character and defines its auspiciousness in trendy combinations of metaphors, materials and colours, and customizes secret editions for the 60th diplomatic anniversary. CDC bridges the spirit of the dragon between the virtual and the real while discovering trails of dragons among contemporary courtyards in urbanism.
