Hydroelectric power plant Töging

The listed power station site of 1924 was no longer suitable for new technical installations, therefore a new underground building was required. In order to integrate the technology into the landscape, the massive new building was largely integrated into the terrain. Above ground, there is only a headwater and underwater area, which protrude from the slope as individual elements. Delivery and functional areas are located under a concrete disc. The two parts of the building correspond in their architectural design and are connected by a vegetated hillside.
