THE SIN At The Sin fruit bowl, Vista Alegre porcelain was associated for the first time with Bordallo Pinheiro earthenware. This piece features a large porcelain bowl, hand-cut, inspired by techniques from the past at Vista Alegre, and a sculptural Bordallo Pinheiro foot, all hand-painted. In it a snake and an apple are represented, alluding to the original sin that happened in the first garden that human beings stepped on.
