This holiday villa is a modern white house in the countryside of Pudong, Shanghai, with the surrounding of typical Chinese rural environment. How to make "green" into the house with the concept of traditional Chinese garden and how to create public space for the large family are the main subjects in our design. Under the condition of the strict construction specification for country house, which determines the volume of a house, and the skill of rural workers, who have no experience of modern buildings, we finally finished this small white house that has an important significance in Shanghai.
