AMIRÁ overlooks the city of Querétaro, with residential units arranged in superimposed and offset blocks of regular geometry, each with natural light, ventilation and privileged city views. The regular blocks are pierced by angular, porous and permeable bodies containing common areas, indicating the programme's different uses and dynamics. These common areas are extended into the void, cantilevered, half open, to provide quality spaces for users. As the sun sets, the concrete of the façade takes on the ochres and earth tones of the building's scrubby, arid surroundings.
