The design strategy for the first Pingtung Awards was to directly use the award’s name in the typeface design to deepen the public's impression. The concept for the type reflects that the starting point for all artistic creations begins with the strokes of sketches. Therefore, the three words in traditional Chinese are outlined using compositional lines, showcasing the origin of diverse art forms. In the coming decade, the goal is to create typeface designs for Pingtung Awards for each annual poster, developing it into a series of collectible poster arts.
