According to a 2022 United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)report, kitchen waste uses much water and land during disposal and is responsible for 8-10% of greenhouse gas emissions. The UK government uses the public service brand "Kitchen No! Waste" to combat climate change. Through a game, it hopes to improve Chinese students' understanding of the regional system for sorting kitchen waste and inspire them to lead sustainable lives in the UK.
