The aim of this venture was to harness advancements in laser technology to address the unmet needs of surgeons, improving both efficiency and efficacy of patient care. Such an effort was complex in its scope, including human factors, industrial design, patient and doctor needs, and surgery specifications. Our goal was, further, to utilize the power of essential form factors in an intuitive, minimalistic design; all functions are integrated within a column that includes a touchscreen UI and physical controls for ease of use. In this way, the ideal laser system design was created.
