Rainbow Bay Park provides a high-quality living environment for about 10,000 households and over 40,000 residents of surrounding large communities. By introducing the sponge green space concept, the project has achieved the rebirth of the brownfield. The design team has adopted low-impact development (LID) technologies, including artificial wetlands, sunken rain gardens, ecological restoration, terrain treatment, permeable pavement, waterfront facilities, and vertical planting to create a "popular science-oriented" sponge city green park serving the surrounding community.
