The building has been in used as hotel for 30 years. We implemented a transformation to the architecture and its interior by reimagining the hotel as long-term rental apartment.Despite a limited budget, we respect the sense of value and dignity of the old building.Based on the concept of modest renovation for modest building,we preserve the texture of the building’s facade as much as possible,and project a demure image integrates the bridge and surroundings.With many similar aged buildings in China need to be renovated,we approach far-reaching applications for the exploration of urban renewal.
