Haoxiang Lake Park covers 13 hectares, connecting four urban rivers and playing a crucial role in flood control and pollution interception. Deteriorating water quality and lakeside industrial building expansion had turned the area into an urban brownfield. With ecological restoration, the water quality has improved. Through urban renewal, the lakeside area has been transformed into an open waterfront park, regenerating the riverbank and reshaping the environment. This addresses the growing demand for open spaces for communities and tackles social issues arising from rapid urban development.
