Qinhuangdao Marriott Resort has a public area with a circular structure and all guest rooms with a tilt of 45 degrees, which addresses the inherent problem of the narrow sea view of the V-shaped building. Marine creatures and nautical elements are elaborately introduced to the space. Through the use of materials, colors, lighting, and art installations, the design presents the guests with an attractive deep sea, allowing them to discover the charm of northern coastal life all year round.
