The ethos of Magari is timelessness-in material, texture and design. The aim was to create environments that enable hand crafted furniture to stand out. The facade enables a beautiful play of light from outside to inside almost creating a glow like effect for the furniture pieces and giving them a spotlight to shine. ferrocement was used in creating elegant exterior and interior folded walls finished delicately with sand plaster. The aspiration is to encourage us to pursue working with existing structures; leading to a more sustainable approach to design as opposed to build from scratch.
