In a post-pandemic world, the way we experience eating in public has completely shifted what dining can be. The project is an outdoor dining space proposal for the existing restaurant Maison Pickle. Embracing the fast paced NYC streets, guests feel as if they're moving, flanked by the rush of cars and pedestrians. The design combines the quintessential booth and bar of diners with the long, linear quality of train cars. Using aluminum and polycarbonate, continuity is at the core of its identity, integrating furniture into the structure. Sidewalk seating allow guests to sit physically roadside.
