A decorative table lamp & vanity mirror - The objective was to create an object that is elegant and timeless in its forms. A design intuitive in its functions, its construction simple but sturdy, providing a good quality soft ambient lit effect. With predominantly the residential market in mind, the design had to work equally well as a bedside lamp, study light, for reading by the couch or for pure ambience on the side. The concept was not to create a vanity mirror that doubles up as a lamp, it was to create one elegant object fulfilling both roles well, providing one less item on one’s desk.
