Many women grow up in a society that doesn’t facilitate talk about the reproductive organs, the vagina, or sanitary issues. Too many women still face the stigma of bleeding - their period. The project is a packaging design for tampons to come out of taboo and encourage talking about women’s reproductive health and menstrual needs. The experience of opening the box mimics the motion of taking out a tampon from the body. This way, the product experience helps users understand the working of tampons and motivate them to use the product.
