Rising 17 stories above San Antonio’s famous River Walk, Floodgate incorporates a 150-year-old retaining wall integrated into restaurant patio seating. Designed for a dense urban site, the residential tower employs varying asymmetrical floor plates within three stacked tiers, responding to unique views from the site and providing optimal sunlight to the River Walk below. The project includes an automated parking system and introduces a new pedestrian pathway to grant greater connectivity between the Riverwalk and adjacent streets.
