Resonance-In-Sight is a mixed-reality art installation made for the Hong Kong Museum of Art. A dramatic pair of locally handcrafted, elegantly curved and brightly coloured steel structures creates a tangible tension between them. Through a tailor-made Augmented Reality (AR) application, accessible through visitors’ own hand-held electronic devices, a virtual graphic element is overlaid in the form of animated and interactive graphic holograms based on artwork from the museum’s collection. The full artwork experience invites visitors into the museum to continue exploring its unique collections.
