U-shaped Counter Connecting the Store With the Community Around It We wondered if we could take advantage of the three open sides of the store space to connect the store to the community around it. That's how we came up with the U-shaped counter concept. By planning a U-shaped counter, the display for the city will seamlessly become a sales floor while drawing a curve. I thought that it would be possible to connect the city and the store and invite people to the store naturally.
