Decades of international overfishing disrupted the fishing economy which fogo island has relied on for over 200 years, so fogo island inn was built as a way to save one of Canada’s oldest rural cultures. The current brand system couldn't reflect the inn’s emphasis on relationships and the braveness and resilience behind its founding. The key words for this project are fearless which indicate the courage to save their hometown, remote which represent its location, and relationship which refers to the connections between human & human and human & nature.
