In the Hitra project, the main design criterion was redefining the possible answers to the existing limitations and regulations by reevaluating the morphology of a typical office building in Tehran alongside defining a new material. The optimization of the natural lighting and view was caused by relocating the central void to the surface, connecting people to the office zone through the welcoming entrance. The outer porous skin formed by the combination of brick and torques metal frames creates modules that enable gradient openings on the façade, taking the principle of the inherited monolith
