The poster provides a contemporary image for a long living Brazilian institution. It was designed for the release of a new book series, named “Coleção Caramelo”. It derives from our series winner logotype, and it pays tribute both to the institution’s established imagery and to the community that moves up and down and casually meets at the building’s ramps on a daily basis. It also brings to mind a collage of piles of open books or the sewing of a book spine. While standing out from the institution's 1960’s identity, so as to update it, the design is still in tune with FAUUSP and its legacy.
