In-between the Pacific Ocean and a minimalist beach-house, Punta Blanca creates both a functional and environmental transitional gathering space from man-made modernity to the natural sand and water. Through an artistic hand-made process, wood and stone are used in dynamic wave-like patterns in both floor and as muyuyo wood louvers. The space functions as an outdoor bar, dining and living area. Natural imperfections are embraced as textures and raw materials like the hand-crafted untidy straw to generate the roof. Warm and cold materials are combined to create an alegant yet cozy space.
