The Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy (EBC) is the largest and most efficient Ontario-focused land conservation organization. EBC protects 17,894 acres of land (76 square km), making them one of Ontario’s largest land trusts with 201 nature reserves. The goal was to secure Heaven's Gate in the La Cloche Mountains, EBC's largest nature reserve yet. We started by rebranding EBC to attract a younger demographic and increase donations. EBC raised $1.7 million and was able to save Heaven's Gate from deforestation.
