This project answers the research question of "How can a brand help people embrace and understand hybrid culture and its inauthenticity through the medium of Chinatown?".It celebrates the difference between contemporary Chinatown, its fluctuating nature and its cultural roots to promote the validity and legitimacy of 'inauthentic' culture as a warped fusion. This project aims to explore the context of Chinatown and multiculturalism then build a brand to promote ‘inauthenticity’ which can help people understand the legitimacy of third cultures.
