Covering an area of 11.9 hectares, the project is located at a kind of boundary space between the old Huaying City and Yingxi New City in Guang 'an, Sichuan. Named ‘Paradise Walk’, this Chinese commercial street is the north-south axis of the site, connecting the old and new town as well as the past and present. According to the commercial space in the Southern Song Dynasty, this design scheme integrates the regional linkage, spatial vitality, context inheritance, etc. through the regional perspective although it seems inward and closed.
