The hallway is set at the entrance to guide circulation. The entrance area echoes the small courtyard that used to breed poultry through the carved-out openings on the wall, creating enframed views inside and outside. After demolishing the original house on the north side, the tea pavilion with brick and wood structures was built here. The space between the tea pavilion and rooms on both sides is reserved for greenery. The historical traces left on original residences are retained. The courtyard was transformed in a moderate way to meet the demands of functions and living environment.
