Socrates is an international design group based in London. In 2020, we launched a series of limited-edition books that celebrate a creative with whom we have worked. Editions 3 features Brian Griffin, one of the most successful photographers of the 1980s. Celebrating Griffin’s faintly surreal portraiture through four eclectic booklets, ‘ODD’ is laced with unexpected typography and complemented by a colour palette that juxtaposes the predominantly black and white photography. Each booklet also sits within a signed and numbered box, offering the reader a theatrical discovery of Griffin’s work.
