The building is located on a huge island. The building designed a curved surface to connect the public spaces on both sides and create a dramatic entrance space. This tumbling wave shape creates an atmospheric, dynamic appearance, and at the same time naturally leads people to the interior of the building. The wave shape is a perfect combination of function and symbol. It is like a flag fluttering in the wind, like a rolling ocean wave. The flag highlights the spiritual connotation of the Party History Museum, and the waves symbolize the regional characteristics of Hainan.
