The field of e-learning has numerous apps to learn languages as a hobby or professionally. We wanted to capture the same aspects of the offline learning process to the e-learning sphere. YiChi is a simplified-Chinese learning app driven by AI that provides structured modules. The app offers choices for both users, who are looking to develop their proficiency or users who want to learn the basics. We built the app through rigorous research on aspects of the Chinese learning process and adapted the same to an improvised online version with interactive sessions and gamification models.
