International School of Beijing Expansion is a proactive interior renovation approach aiming to transform this leading school to the cutting edge of learning environment by superseding the existing over-unified, solemn institution with a versatile, dynamic education center empowered by variety of age-appropriate small learning communities. Inspired by motion picture montage and music melodies, the design creates each community in colors, forms and placemaking distinctive from one another and fill it to the existing architectural framework, activating further involvement of learning spaces.
