The CNOOC gas station is a gas terminal owned by China National Offshore Oil Corporation. To present a modern, high-tech and efficient image, the design chiefly uses blue, the dominant color of CNOOC's VI, to highlight the brand's associations with sea water and the high-tech industry. The design of the convenience store draws inspiration from a ship cabin. The sleek contour of the cabin and the combination of wood yellows with ocean blues moderate the tension caused by the tight space and instill youthful energy into the interior.
