Chinese Traditional Handmade Paper(CTHP) is a treasure of Chinese culture. this series of illustrations is not a "tradition" reproduction of CTHP, which is placed in the illustration field to explore the "contemporary reproduction" from "intangible cultural heritage" , and from the perspective of texture illustration to discover the serialized visual symbols which could hidden in CTHP. Meanwhile,I tried to paint on traditional handmade paper with a variety of materials. the painting materials produced accidental texture effects, such as blooming and superimposition, erosion, etc.
