In 2020, various emergencies broke out all the world，the normal things were broken by external forces. Taking the experience as the inspiration, I design the "Priceless Year-½ Alphabet". This is an experimental type design, from Aa to Zz, and using specific 5 phases to interpret and design the morphological transformation process of the previous letter and the next letter, and extract the type shape from the middle phase. The design aims to break the presupposition of type design, discover the possibility of type structure, and expand and derive type expression and reading methods.
