The project aims to bridge the cultural gap for intercultural learners and to give foreign learners a better understanding of Chinese modern culture in a playful and interactive atmosphere. The first product is ‘I-slang app’. It is a playful app for learning Chinese internet slang. It provides definitions and examples for each word. Users can learn the meanings of the slang terms from the illustrations. They can also play various language games such as the Slang quiz with friends. The second product is ‘I-slang passport’. Users can learn new vocabulary and write their example sentences.
