The site is located on Penghu County, Taiwan known for the sea and the scenic coastal landscape. The building is aligned with the linear hinterland between the coast and roadway, forming three parallel edges that accommodate the coastal topography and the greenery. The grand corridor on the first-floor channels the airflow to the staircase and upper-floor corridor to lower the temperature through the air passage. Under the steep COVID-19 pandemic situation, a well-planned domestic environment improve the energy efficiency of the building and the ventilation of the interior air quality.
