Canopy is a playful, airy structure that strikes awe and adds to the existing landscape. The integrated architectural canopy provides a vertical volume for children to explore while referencing the surrounding tree limbs irregular angles. Their seemingly irregular geometry was choreographed into a regular eight sided shape, giving it the ability to tesselate in three dimensions. The pavilion is equipped to facilitate socially distanced community play through an integrated augmented reality hide and seek app.
