Our design is for the interior in the world's first commercial spaceport. The lounge serves as the public face of the building for astronauts, friends, crew and the workforce. The Gaia lounge offers different levels, seating groups and areas celebration, work and education. All elements are designed to look outwards in the same direction towards the floor to ceiling windows on to the runway. The space is designed to emphasise the sense of togetherness for all the users. The colour and materials palette reflect the journey through the building from desert to space.
