Traces of Confucius Exhibition is on view at Asian Art Museum San Francisco from September 28, 2019 until October 28, 2019.This exhibition takes the viewer to ancient China, where they will learn about the life of Chinese philosopher, educator and diplomat Confucius. The Chinese language is a vast treasury of culture; Thus,Chinese characters can be the representative for Chinese culture. The characters made by 32 types of strokes. The poster design series utilizes those 32 strokes to illustrative conceptual ideas about combination of Chinese culture and Confucius.
