The inspiration of using sands and rocks to represent water and mountains derived from the Japanese gardens which we visited while traveling. As I would like to add the Japanese garden style elements to our interior design, I applied cement, white sand and wood to reconstitute Japanese Karesansui for the purpose of presenting my own definition of Zen to people entering this space to appreciate.
