Villa Emma melts the rigour of a "Stazzu", the local rural building, with the modern house principles of open floor plans and connection between outdoor and indoor spaces. This house is a universe of lines that play poetically with the sky and the earth. The hand-split granite stones on the ground floor are immersed in the natural landscape and create materiality in a game of lights and shadows, while the sliding windows on the first floor reflect the blue sky and can transform the house into a terrace when fully open.
